Brett S. Carlson, Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Brett Carlson is the founder of Eir Partners, an investment company focused exclusively on healthcare technology.  Eir Partners has deployed or partnered on over $5.5 billion in transaction value. Representative investments include ClaimLogiq, Revive Health, Capta Health Solutions, GiftHealth, CloudMed, Millennia, Equian, Convey Health, among others. Eir Partners was the founding investor operators at CloudMed Solutions growing that company over 100X since 2016. Mr. Carlson currently sits on the board of Directors at Apixio, Capta Health, Revive Health, GiftHealth and Millennia.  Mr. Carlson was the Chief Executive Officer at iVantage Health Analytics, a healthcare data analytics company and a principal at Great Point Partners, LLC, a health care focused investment firm responsible for their technology, tech enabled and payer services investing effort.  He is a former Director at Citra Health Solutions and Connecture (Nasdaq: CXNR). Mr. Carlson holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jeff Martin, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer

Jeff Martin is a Finance Executive with more than 25 years of experience in the financial and healthcare sectors. Mr. Martin serves as CFO & Chief Compliance Officer of Eir Partners. Prior to Eir Partners, Mr. Martin was the Chief Financial Officer of Equian, a healthcare technology-enabled company focused on payment integrity of healthcare spend. Previous experience also includes finance roles with a national accounting and consulting firm, and residential real estate company. Mr. Martin is a graduate of Purdue University and a former CPA in the State of Indiana. In addition to his role at Eir Partners, Mr. Martin is a board member for the Indiana Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center.

Mike Morrison, Operating Partner - Growth & Business Development

Mike Morrison is a business executive and leader with more than 20 years of experience in business with a focus in healthcare. Mr. Morrison currently serves as an operating partner at Eir Partners. Prior to Eir Partners, Mr. Morrison was the Chief Revenue Officer for Equian, a healthcare technology-enabled company focused on payment integrity of healthcare spend. Prior to Equian, Mr. Morrison served in various growth and leadership roles for Affiliated Computer Sciences. Mr. Morrison is instrumental in helping develop, mentor, and grow sales teams and organizations. Mr. Morrison is a graduate of Ohio University.

Neil Vangala, Managing Director

Neil Vangala works to identify new investment opportunities and contributes to the ongoing oversight of the Eir Portfolio. Mr. Vangala has roughly 15 years of experience working as a healthcare technology investor and operator. He was previously the Founder of Keen Insurance and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Redesign health, a venture studio focused on businesses in healthcare technology. Previously, Mr. Vangala worked as an investment professional at Genstar Capital where he was involved in the origination, underwriting and execution of a number of successful Healthcare, Technology and Financial Services investments, including eResearch Technology, NetSmart, Evolution1, and AssetMark. Mr. Vangala is an active board member for companies across the healthcare ecosystem and has helped to build various businesses. Mr. Vangala earned a BA from Brown University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was elected a Palmer Scholar and McGowan Fellow.

Yegor Elkin, Vice President

Yegor Elkin works to identify and execute new investment opportunities for Eir Partners, and he works with Eir’s portfolio to support operations FP&A and add-on acquisition strategies. Mr. Elkin was previously a Vice President with the investment team at Madison Dearborn Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on buyout and growth equity investing across five industry sectors. Prior to Madison Dearborn, Mr. Elkin worked on the investment team at MSD Partners, and worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Elkin holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Alex Antwan, Senior Associate

Alex Antwan works to identify and execute new investment opportunities for Eir Partners, and he works with Eir’s portfolio to support operations FP&A and add-on acquisition strategies. Mr. Antwan was previously an investment banker at Ziegler where he focused on healthcare M&A transactions. Prior to Ziegler he worked in the investment banking division at Truist Securities. With a natural entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Antwan has demonstrated astute business acumen, notably identifying, founding and managing a profitable business venture as a full-time high school student, among other endeavors. Mr. Antwan holds a BS in Finance from Miami University (Ohio), Cum Laude.


Maximilien Weiss, Senior Associate

Max Weiss works to identify and execute new investment opportunities for Eir Partners, and he works with Eir’s portfolio to support operations FP&A and add-on acquisition strategies. Mr. Weiss was previously a Healthcare focused Senior Associate at Prospect Capital, a middle-market private equity and credit investment firm. Before Prospect Capital, he worked at a variety of private equity, corporate development, and investment banking firms throughout business school, including time spent as an investment banker at Cross Keys Capital, a lower middle-market boutique investment bank. Mr. Weiss started his career in corporate development at US Anesthesia Partners, a portfolio company of WCAS and Berkshire Partners. Mr. Weiss holds a BA with honors in Economics from The University of Chicago, as well as an MBA from the Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago.

Kristen Arsenault, Operations Lead

Kristen Arsenault works to ensure the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems at Eir Partners. Previously, Ms. Arsenault worked as an Investor Relations Associate and Vice President of Operations at Tremblant Capital; a fundamental Long/Short and Long-Only Global Equity manager founded in 2001. Ms. Arsenault holds a B.S. in Sociology from Arizona State University.

Brooke O’Leary, Consultant

Brooke O’Leary is a consultant for Eir Partners. Ms. O’Leary was previously with the investment team at FTV Capital, a middle-market private equity firm focused on enterprise and financial technology, performing both deal execution and origination. Before FTV Capital, Ms. O’Leary worked in investment banking at UBS. Ms. O’Leary holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Summa Cum Laude.
